Who We Are
Friends of East Sacramento serves as the organizing and fundraising arm of the McKinley Park Center.
Great things are accomplished through unity and purpose, and the goal of Friends Of East Sacramento is to make East Sacramento a warm, welcoming, and beautiful place for both neighbors and its visitors.
What We Do
Since being founded in 2012, Friends of East Sacramento has served the community through a sustainable community center management model.
In addition to management of the Clunie Community Center and the McKinley Rose Garden, Friends of East Sacramento also hosts volunteer days for park beautification and a home tour. The annual Urban Renaissance Home Tour is a way to enjoy the beauty of East Sacramento architecture and help benefit East Sacramento parks by funding improvement projects.
